Louie Cayabyab is an ordained minister in the Church of Christ or Iglesia ni Cristo. He is also a teacher, a counselor, a speaker, and an educator. He taught Homiletics, Ministerial Values, Doctrines, and Psychology. He also served as an spiritual adviser and the same time Dean of Student Affairs in the New Era University.
In October 2000, he migrated from the Philippines to the United States. He spent 12 years in the East Coast pastoring the Congregations of Washington DC, Temple Hills MD, Northern Virginia MD , Solomons Island MD, Baltimore MD, Elizabeth NJ, Staten Island NY, Virginia Beach, VA. In 2012, he was transferred to the to the West Coast to take care of the congregations of Livermore and Fremont respectively.
On July 25, 2015, he defied the order to read the circular about the expulsion of the wife and children of the former Executive Minister Brother Erano G. Manalo.
As a consequence, Louie and his family were expelled from the Church. His expulsion was announced in all congregations of the Church of Christ all over the world.
After nearly three decades of being a minister in the Church, he embarks on a spiritual journey beyond the limits of the religious institution he once belonged to. He takes care the spiritual well being of the people who were unjustly expelled from the Church of Christ.
